Tanda-tanda Kemunculan Imam Mahdi Sedang Terjadi, Ini Penjelasan Hadits Nabi

Imam Mahdī (Arab الإمام المهدي, Muhammad al-Mahdī, Mehdi; “Seseorang yang memandu”) adalah seorang muslim berusia muda yang akan dipilih oleh Allah untuk menghancurkan semua kezaliman dan menegakkan keadilan di muka bumi sebelum datangnya hari kiamat.
Imam Mahdi sebenarnya adalah sebuah nama gelar sebagaimana halnya dengan gelar khalifah, amirul mukminin dan sebagainya. Imam Mahdi dapat diartikan secara bebas bermakna “Pemimpin yang telah diberi petunjuk”. Dalam bahasa Arab, kata Imam berarti “pemimpin”, sedangkan Mahdi berarti “orang yang mendapat petunjuk”.
Nama Imam Mahdi sebenarnya seperti yang disebutkan dalam hadist di bawah, ia bernama Muhammad (seperti nama Nabi Muhammad), nama ayahnya pun sama seperti nama ayah Nabi Muhammad SAW yaitu Abdullah. Nama Imam Mahdi sama persis dengan Rasulullah SAW yaitu Muhammad bin Abdullah.
“Andaikan dunia tinggal sehari sungguh Allah akan panjangkan hari tersebut sehingga diutus padanya seorang lelaki dari ahli baitku namanya serupa namaku dan nama ayahnya serupa nama ayahku (Muhammad bin Abdullah) . Ia akan penuhi bumi dengan kejujuran dan keadilan sebagaimana sebelumnya dipenuhi dengan kezaliman dan penganiayaan.” (HR abu Dawud 9435)
Dalam sebuah hadits Rasullullah mengisyaratkan bahwa Imam Mahdi pasti datang di akhir zaman. Ia akan memimpin ummat Islam keluar dari kegelapan kezaliman dan kesewenang-wenangan menuju cahaya keadilan dan kejujuran yang menerangi dunia seluruhnya.
Ia akan menghantarkan kita meninggalkan babak keempat era para penguasa diktator yang memaksakan kehendak dan mengabaikan kehendak Allah dan RasulNya dewasa ini menuju babak kelima yaitu tegaknya kembali kekhalifahan Islam yang mengikuti manhaj, sistem atau metode Kenabian.
Lalu apa sajakah indikasi kedatangan Imam Mahdi? Dalam sebuah hadits Rasulullah SAW memberikan gambaran umum indikasi kedatangan Imam Mahdi.
Ia akan diutus ke muka bumi bilamana perselisihan antar-manusia telah menggejala hebat dan banyak gempa-gempa terjadi. Dan kedua fenomena sosial dan fenomena alam ini telah menjadi semarak di berbagai negeri dewasa ini.
“Aku kabarkan berita gembira mengenai Al-Mahdi yang diutus Allah ke tengah ummatku ketika banyak terjadi perselisihan antar-manusia dan gempa-gempa. Ia akan penuhi bumi dengan keadilan dan kejujuran sebagaimana sebelumnya dipenuhi dengan kesewenang-wenangan dan kezaliman.” (HR Ahmad 10898)
Imam Mahdi akan berperan sebagai panglima perang ummat Islam di akhir zaman. Beliau akan mengajak ummat Islam untuk memerangi para Mulkan Jabriyyan (Para Penguasa Zalim) yang telah lama bercokol di berbagai negeri-negeri di dunia menjalankan kekuasaan dengan ideologi penghambaan manusia kepada sesama manusia.
Dalam hadits lain diterangkan dalam sebuah hadist nabi yang diriwayatkan oleh Thabrani. Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Sungguh, bumi ini akan dipenuhi oleh kezhaliman dan kesemena-menaan. Dan apabila kezhaliman serta kesemena-menaan itu telah penuh, maka Allah SWT akan mengutus seorang laki-laki yang berasal dari umatku, namanya seperti namaku, dan nama bapaknya seperti nama bapakku. Maka ia akan memenuhi bumi dengan keadilan dan kemakmuran, sebagaimana ia (bumi) telah dipenuhi sebelum itu oleh kezhaliman dan kesemena-menaan. Di waktu itu langit tidak akan menahan setetes pun dari tetesan airnya, dan bumi pun tidak akan menahan sedikit pun dari tanaman-tanamannya. Maka ia akan hidup bersama kamu selama 7 tahun, atau 8 tahun, atau 9 tahun. (HR. Thabrani) ”
Hadist lain yang menerangkan tentang kedatangan Imam Mahdi adalah sebagai berikut, Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Pada akhir zaman akan muncul seorang khalifah yang berasal dari umatku, yang akan melimpahkan harta kekayaan selimpah-limpahnya. Dan ia sama sekali tidak akan menghitung-hitungnya.” (HR. Muslim dan Ahmad)
Tidak ada seorang pun dimuka bumi ini yang mengetahui tentang Imam Mahdi dan ciri-cirinya , kecuali Rasulullah, karena Rasululah dibimbing oleh wahyu. Oleh karena itu bagi kita sebaik-baiknya tempat untuk merujuk tentang perkara ini adalah apa yang baginda Rasulullah katakan dalam hadist-hadistnya sebagai berikut:
Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Al-Mahdi berasal dari umatku, berkening lebar, berhidung panjang dan mancung. Ia akan memenuhi bumi ini dengan keadilan dan kemakmuran, sebagaimana ia (bumi ini) sebelum itu dipenuhi oleh kezhaliman dan kesemena-menaan, dan ia (umur kekhalifahan) berumur tujuh tahun. (HR. Abu Dawud dan al-Hakim)”
“Al-Mahdi berasal dari umatku, dari keturunan anak cucuku. (HR. Abu Dawud, Ibnu Majah, dan al-Hakim)”
Lelaki keturunan Nabi Muhammad SAW tersebut adalah Imam Mahdi. Ia akan diizinkan Allah untuk merubah keadaan dunia yang penuh kezaliman dan penganiayaan menjadi penuh kejujuran dan keadilan.
Subhanallah…! Beliau tentunya tidak akan mengajak ummat Islam berpindah babak melalui perjalanan tenang dan senang laksana melewati taman-taman bunga indah atau melalui meja perundingan dengan penguasa zalim dewasa ini apalagi dengan mengandalkan sekedar ”permainan kotak suara”..!
Imam Mahdi akan mengantarkan ummat Islam menuju babak Khilafatun ’ala Minhaj An-Nubuwwah melalui jalan yang telah ditempuh Rasullulah SAW dan para sahabatnya, yaitu melalui al-jihad fi sabilillah.
Tanda-tanda Kemunculan Imam MahdiPara ulama membagi tanda-tanda Akhir Zaman (kiamat) menjadi dua. Ada tanda-tanda Kecil dan ada tanda-tanda Besar Akhir Zaman. Tanda-tanda Kecil jumlahnya sangat banyak dan datang terlebih dahulu. Sedangkan Tanda-tanda Besar datang kemudian jumlahnya ada sepuluh.
Tanda besar pertama yang bakal datang ialah keluarnya Dajjal. Namun sebagian ulama berpendapat bahwa sebelum munculnya Dajjal harus datang terlebih dahulu Tanda Penghubung antara tanda-tanda kecil kiamat dengan tanda-tanda besarnya. Tanda Penghubung dimaksud ialah diutusnya Imam Mahdi ke muka bumi.
Kemunculan Imam Mahdi akan di dahului oleh beberapa tanda-tanda sebagaimana yang disebutkan dalam beberapa hadist berikut:
Telah bersabda Rasullah SAW:
“Sungguh, Baitullah ini akan diserang oleh suatu pasukan, sehingga apabila pasukan tersebut telah sampai pada sebuah padang pasir, maka bagian tengah pasukan itu ditelan bumi. Maka berteriaklah pasukan bagian depan kepada pasukan bagian belakang, dimana kemudian semua mereka ditenggelamkan bumi dan tidak ada yang tersisa, kecuali seseorang yang selamat, yang akan mengabarkan tentang kejadian yang menimpa mereka.” (HR. Muslim, Ahmad, Nasai, dan Ibnu Majah)
Aisyah Ummul Mukminin RA telah berkata:
“Pada suatu hari tubuh Rasulullah SAW bergetar dalam tidurnya. Lalu kami bertanya, ‘Mengapa engkau melakukan sesuatu yang belum pernah engkau lakukan wahai Rasulullah?’ Rasulullah SAW menjawab, ‘Akan terjadi suatu keanehan, yaitu bahwa sekelompok orang dari umatku akan berangkat menuju baitullah (Ka’bah) untuk memburu seorang laki-laki Quraisy yang pergi mengungsi ke Ka’bah. Sehingga apabila orang-orang tersebut telah sampai ke padang pasir, maka mereka ditelan bumi.’ Kemudian kami bertanya, ‘Bukankah di jalan padang pasir itu terdapat bermacam-macam orang?’ Beliau menjawab, ‘Benar, di antara mereka yang ditelan bumi tersebut ada yang sengaja pergi untuk berperang, dan ada pula yang dipaksa untuk berperang, serta ada pula orang yang sedang berada dalam suatu perjalanan, akan tetapi mereka binasa dalam satu waktu dan tempat yang sama. Sedangkan mereka berasal dari arah (niat) yang berbeda-beda. Kemudian Allah SWT akan membangkitkan mereka pada hari berbangkit, menurut niat mereka masing-masing.” (HR. Bukhary, Muslim)
Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Seorang laki-laki akan datang ke Baitullah (Ka’bah), maka diutuslah suatu utusan (oleh penguasa) untuk mengejarnya. Dan ketika mereka telah sampai di suatu gurun pasir, maka mereka terbenam ditelan bumi.” (HR. Muslim)
Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Suatu kaum yang mempunyai jumlah dan kekuatan yang tidak berarti akan kembali ke Baitullah. Lalu diutuslah (oleh penguasa) sekelompok tentara untuk mengejar mereka, sehingga apabila mereka telah sampai pada suatu padang pasir, maka mereka ditelan bumi.” (HR. Muslim)
Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Suatu pasukan dari umatku akan datang dari arah negeri Syam (Palestina) ke Baitullah (Ka’bah) untuk mengejar seorang laki-laki yang akan dijaga Allah dari mereka.” (HR. Ahmad)
Banyak pendapat mengatakan bahwa kondisi dunia dewasa ini berada di ambang datangnya tanda-tanda besar Kiamat. Karena di masa kita hidup dewasa ini sudah sedemikian banyak tanda-tanda kecil yang bermunculan.
Praktis hampir seluruh tanda-tanda kecil kiamat yang disebutkan oleh Rasulullah sudah muncul semua di zaman kita.
Kedatangan Imam MahdiHadits berikut ini bahkan memberikan kita gambaran bahwa kedatangan Imam Mahdi akan disertai tiga peristiwa penting. Pertama, perselisihan berkepanjangan sesudah kematian seorang pemimpin. Kedua, dibai’atnya seorang lelaki (Imam Mahdi) secara paksa di depan Ka’bah.
Ketiga, terbenamnya pasukan yang ditugaskan untuk menangkap Imam Mahdi dan orang-orang yang berbai’at kepadanya. Allah benamkan seluruh pasukan itu kecuali disisakan satu atau dua orang untuk melaporkan kepada penguasa zalim yang memberikan mereka perintah untuk menangkap Imam Mahdi.
“Akan terjadi perselisihan setelah wafatnya seorang pemimpin, maka keluarlah seorang lelaki dari penduduk Madinah mencari perlindungan ke Mekkah, lalu datanglah kepada lelaki ini beberapa orang dari penduduk Mekkah, lalu mereka membai’at Imam Mahdi secara paksa, maka ia dibai’at di antara Rukun dengan Maqam Ibrahim (di depan Ka’bah). Kemudian diutuslah sepasukan manusia dari penduduk Syam, maka mereka dibenamkan di sebuah daerah bernama Al-Baida yang berada di antara Mekkah dan Madinah.” (HR Abu Dawud 3737)
Sebagian pengamat tanda-tanda akhir zaman beranggapan bahwa indikasi yang pertama telah terjadi, yaitu perselisihan dan kekacauan yang timbul sesudah wafatnya seorang pemimpin. Siapakah pemimpin yang telah wafat itu? Wallahua’lam.
Dugaan bermunculan, Sebagian berspekulasi bahwa yang dimaksud adalah Yaseer Arafat (Palestina) atau Saddam Husein (Irak). Karena semenjak kematiannya, negeri Palestina – Irak berada dalam kekacauan berkepanjangan.
Kemunculan Imam Mahdi bukan karena kemauan Imam Mahdi itu sendiri melainkan karena takdir Allah yang pasti berlaku. Bahkan Imam Mahdi sendiri tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya adalah Imam Mahdi melainkan setelah Allah SWT mengislahkannya dalam suatu malam, seperti yang dikatakan dalam sebuah hadist berikut:
“Al-Mahdi berasal dari umatku, yang akan diislahkan oleh Allah dalam satu malam.” (HR. Ahmad dan Ibnu Majah)
Telah bersabda Rasulullah SAW:
“Akan dibaiat seorang laki-laki antara makam Ibrahim dengan sudut Ka’bah.” (HR. Ahmad, Abu Dawud)
Dalam hadist yang disebutkan bahwa Imam Mahdi akan memimpin selama 7 atau 8 atau 9 tahun. Semasa kepemimpinannya Imam Mahdi akan membawa kaum muslimin untuk memerangi kezaliman, hingga satu demi satu kedzaliman akan tumbang takluk dibawah kekuasaanya.
Kemenangan demi kemenangan senantiasa diraih Imam Mahdi dan pasukannya akan membuat murka raja kezaliman (Dajjal) sehingga membuat Dajjal keluar dari persembunyiannya dan berusaha membunuh Imam Mahdi serta pengikutnya.
Kekuasaan dan kehebatan Dajjal bukanlah lawan tanding Imam Mahdi oleh karena itu sesuai dengan takdir Allah, maka Allah SWT akan menurunkan Nabi Isa dari langit yang bertugas membunuh Dajjal.
Imam Mahdi dan Nabi Isa akan bersama-sama memerangi Dajjal dan pengikutnya, hingga Dajjal mati ditombak oleh Nabi Isa di “Pintu Lud”.
Telah bersabda Rasulullah Salallahu ‘alaihi wasallama:
“Kalian perangi jazirah Arab dan Allah beri kalian kemenangan. Kemudian Persia (Iran), dan Allah beri kalian kemenangan. Kemudian kalian perangi Rum (Romawi), dan Allah beri kalian kemenangan. Kemudian kalian perangi Dajjal, dan Allah beri kalian kemenangan.” (HR Muslim 5161)
Dan apabila ketiga peristiwa di atas telah terjadi, berarti Ummat Islam di seluruh penjuru dunia menjadi tahu bahwa Imam Mahdi telah datang diutus ke muka bumi.
Kita sudah harus bersiap-siap untuk berlangsungnya pembai’atan Imam Mahdi di depan Ka’bah. Panglima ummat Islam di Akhir Zaman telah hadir. Dan bila ini telah menjadi jelas kitapun terikat dengan pesan Rasullullah SAW sebagai berikut:
“Ketika kalian melihatnya (kehadiran Imam Mahdi), maka berbai’at-lah dengannya walaupun harus merangkak-rangkak di atas salju karena sesungguhnya dia adalah Khalifatullah Al-Mahdi.” (HR Abu Dawud 4074)
